Tasting Note: A Chinon that showcases the floral side of Loire cabernet franc.

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of red plum, pencil shavings, freshly-opened-violet blossom and morning forest floor.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied cabernet franc expresses flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-acidity with some earthy vegetal notes mixed in for good measure.

The wine has ripe, medium tannin and completes with a medium-plus finish.

The Chinon displays some midpalate concentration and complexity.

Would pair well with many a meal.
