Tasting Note: This soft and supple cabernet franc demonstrates the potential of varietal in the New York Finger Lakes region and shows the best of what cab franc can be in a lighter-styled form.

This aromatic ruby-colored cabernet franc has a nose of red cherry, strawberry, red plum, clove baking spice and orange citrus.

Aromas continue to the palate as flavors with red fruit components taking the lead followed by medium acidity that closes with a bit of tartness on the finish.

An enjoyable light- to medium- bodied wine to begin an evening – one I will have again.

Bottle Note: At Bellangelo, we specialize in hand-crafting small lot, authentic wines that offer a maximum expression of Finger Lakes terroir. Cabernet franc is our signature red varietal, and has proven to be an exceptional grape for the cool climate of the Finger Lakes, producing wines that exhibit a sense of place. As a cool climate wine region, we produce wines that are lower in alcohol, higher in acid, and excellent for pairing with food. Sourced from Tuller Vineyards, Morris Vineyards, and Saw Mill Creek Vineyards. Proudly crafted by The Missick Family. 500 cases produced.
