Tasting Note: Ruby in color, this bonarda will be exotic to those who have yet to experience this widely-cultivated grape variety in Argentina.

On the nose there is intense dark plum, jammy raspberry, chocolate, clove, and tobacco notes.

On the palate the wine is medium bodied, with less intense fruit than suggested on the nose, but still juicy embodying a fruit-centric but not quite fruit-forward character.

The wine is medium in tannin and finish. A classic expression of bonarda that reveals the basic character of the grape and presents it in an accessible form.

You’ll know you’re tasting something different when you open the bottle and the aromas spill over in your glass.

If you like the plum and chocolate, character try more bottles and keep exploring the varietal which can see those flavors intensified even more.
