Tasting Note: A well-made chardonnay with golden, summer fruit that takes center stage.

Medium-intensity gold in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of caramelized golden apple, pineapple, quince, blossom and vanilla baking spice.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied chardonnay displays gentle, golden-fruit flavors suggested on the nose along with passionfruit, biscuit and yogurt.

The wine is creamy and buttery in texture with midpalate complexity and the lightest touch of oak that is reminiscent of white Burgundy.

Bottle Note: Chalk Hill is located in Healdsburg within Sonoma County. This wine is handcrafted from select chardonnay vineyards throughout the Sonoma Coast growing region. Chalk Hill is dedicated to producing wines of distinction and elegance. The Sonoma Coast chardonnay offers a bright and balanced wine.
