Chalk Hill, Chardonnay 2018, Sonoma Coast, California

Tasting Note: A chardonnay that pairs stonefruit with just the lightest touch of oak reminiscent of white Burgundy.

Medium-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of quince, bosc pear, nectarine stonefruit, pineapple, blossom and vanilla baking spice.

On the palate the dry, full-bodied chardonnay has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with a quince-and-clove-infused, medium-plus finish.

The wine has a creamy texture with a fulsome midpalate and complexity throughout the length of the taste.

An enjoyable and versatile chardonnay.

Bottle Note: Chalk Hill is located in Healdsburg within Sonoma County. This wine is hand-crafted from select chardonnay vineyards throughout the Sonoma Coast growing region. Chalk Hill is dedicated to producing wines of distinction and elegance. The Sonoma Coast chardonnay offers a bright and balanced wine.
