Château de la Terriére, Vin Sauvage à Poil, Régnié 2016, Beaujolais, France

Tasting Note: A natural wine with no sulfites, this Régnié Cru Beaujolais is like a handsome, suit-clad gentleman speaking sweet nothings in your ear in the corner of a crowded, private event.

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has a medium-plus-intensity, aromatic nose of fresh raspberry puree, red plum, blackberry and violet.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied Régnié Beaujolais has a smooth texture with black-fruit flavors showing first followed by ripe, medium tannin.
