Concha Y Toro, Casillero del Diablo, Reserva Chardonnay 2016, Chile

Tasting Note: A chardonnay from Chile with balance and ripe green fruit that tastes more expensive than it actually is.

Medium intensity gold in color this wine has a nose of green apple, pear, quince, pineapple and lemon citrus with secondary vanilla and yoghurt aromas.

On the palate the dry, full-bodied chardonnay shows flavors suggested on the nose along with light oak.

The wine is medium in acidity with bright green fruit showing through to a medium-plus finish.

The chardonnay is balanced with fruit and oak playing with rather than against each other.

A chardonnay for the red wine lover in your life.

Bottle Note: Winemaker’s Note – A crisp chardonnay packed with tropical fruit flavors and subtle hints of vanilla. Medium bodied with good balance and a fresh finish. Food Match – Great with fish and seafood and creamy pasta dishes.
