Concha Y Toro, Casillero del Diablo Reserva Malbec 2016, Central Valley, Chile

Tasting Note: A basic, black-fruit forward malbec with body.

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of blackberry, black plum, black currant, green-pepper leaf and raspberry.

On the palate the dry, full-bodied malbec delivers flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and slightly-grippy, medium-plus tannin.

There is balance between the fruit and tannin structure even as the wine has a straight-forward taste profile.

Bottle Note: Winemaker’s Note – A robust malbec with intense, dark fruits, black pepper and vanilla. Full bodied, fresh and fruity it has a long, mouth-watering finish. Food Match – Great with grilled meats and roasted vegetables.
