Tasting Note: An easy-drinking, accessible cabernet with a devilish streak.

Deep ruby in color this wine has an aromatic nose of blackcurrant, blackberry, red cherry, black pepper and clove baking spice.

There are also some spicy, carmenere-like aromas which is not uncommon as many older vineyards in Chile have the occasional carmenere vine mixed in with their cabernet sauvignon vines.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied cabernet is fruit forward with velvety, medium tannin completing with a tart, red-cherry finish.

Bottle Note: Winemaker’s Notes – A smooth, full-bodied cabernet sauvignon with cassis and black cherry flavors, complemented by hints of coffee and dark chocolate. Food Match – Great choice to match with red meats, herby dishes or mature cheeses.
