Tasting Note: A basic French malbec that is more interesting on the nose than the palate.

Purple to ruby in color, this malbec from Cahors has an intense nose of wild blackberry, angular violet, raspberry and red plum along with some mild vanilla, crushed dried rose petal and damp forest floor aromas.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied red is medium plus in tannin with the astringency on the finish constituting a predominate portion of the taste profile.

The wine has a slightly round character at the beginning of the taste that quickly leads to the finish sidestepping the mid-palate.

Bottle Note: This wine is the perfect expression of a rigorous selection your native winemaker. Stemming from the best terroirs producing malbec grapes, aged and matured with ancestral know-how, Cuvée Tradition is a generous medium-bodied wine. This wine is a rich deep purple in color. It is bursting spicy black fruit aromas and red jammed fruits. Rich, velvety and full bodied with a long ending palate. 80% Malbec. 20% Merlot.
