Domaine Bousquet, Chardonnay 2018, Tupungato Valley, Mendoza, Argentina, Wine Casual

Domaine Bousquet, Chardonnay 2018, Tupungato Valley, Mendoza, Argentina

Tasting Note: A bright, floral, unoaked chardonnay from Mendoza that hits all the right places in your mouth.

Pale-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of green apple, peach stone fruit, blossom, melon and lemon citrus.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus bodied chardonnay delivers a mix of tart and ripe, medium-plus-intensity fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity.

The wine is steely in texture and balances acidity and fruit-intensity well.

Bottle Note: Domaine Bousquet combines the know-how of French winemaking with Argentina’s exceptional climate and terroir. The vineyard is located at the foothills of the Andes, at 1200 m.a.s.l. Its thermal amplitude contributes to obtaining fully ripened grapes with an excellent acidity. The grapes are handpicked and the vineyard is certified organic. Smooth and with tropical fruit aromas, it has notes of apple and pear with slight tone of sweet spice. It presents a clean and fresh finish. This wine pairs well with appetizers, seafood and fish dishes.
