Tasting Note: A Chinon that proves you don’t have to choose between fruit and an earthy, vegetal character – you can have both in balance.

Deep purple-to-ruby in color this wine has an aromatic and earthy nose of red cherry, black plum and some blackberry and white pepper.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied cabernet franc presents the mix of red and black fruit flavors suggested on the nose with medium intensity such that the primary fruit character of the wine rides slightly ahead of the secondary winemaking.

The wine shows great balance with some notes of complexity mid-to-back palate.

Bottle Note: 100% Cabernet franc. Made with organic grapes. Certified organic by Ecocert France SAS. “Wine is like cooking, all about simplicity. This is the way my mother raised me, in her kitchen with friends of the family, good vegetables and nice recipies . . . In this bottle there are just grapes, will and lots of love like in my mom’s kitchen.” Nicolas Grosbois.
