Tasting Note: A Gigondas that combines reserved red fruit and a plush mouthfeel.

Deep-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of red plum, black currant, raspberry, fig and blossom with hints of vanilla baking spice.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied red blen has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose along with some notes of tart red fruit interspersed between the vast majority of ripe black fruit.

The wine is medium in acidity with ripe, well-integrated, medium tannin.

There is midpalate complexity and a subtleness that completes with a medium-plus finish.

Bottle Note: Our family estate of 100 acres is located in the southern Rhone valley. We grow in a sustainable manner, on the best slopes, the traditional grape varieties of the area: grenache (50%), syrah (40%) and mourvedre (10%). Top quality vines (averaging 50 years old) harvested by hand and producing very low yields (30 hl/ha) enable us to make true “terroir” wines of concentration and character. Enjoy with grilled lamb or beef and delicious with cow cheese.
