Dr. Heidemanns-Bergweiler Dry Riesling 2015 – Swims in Fruit & Acidity

Dr. Heidemanns-Bergweiler, Dry Riesling 2015, Mosel, Germany, Wine Casual

Dr. Heidemanns-Bergweiler, Dry Riesling 2015, Mosel, Germany

Tasting Note: Experience a dry riesling from Germany’s Mosel region that swims in fruit and acidity.

Pale-intensity lemon in color this wine has an aromatic nose of lemon peel, pineapple, nectarine and green apple.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied riesling presents tart fruit flavors suggested on the nose but in a slightly more under-ripe form.

The wine is high in acidity, and there are some notes of mid-palate complexity before it completes with a medium finish.

The riesling could benefit from more fruit concentration but provides good value for the price point from the Mosel.
