Famille Bougrier, Muscadet 2015, Loire, France

Tasting Note: A classic Muscadet courtesy of the Melon de Bourgogne grape from this classic region near the coastal area of Northwest France.

The palest of lemon in color, this wine has a nose of lemon citrus, pear, grapefruit and green apple.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied wine presents tart, sour, under ripe green fruit on the attack with under ripe green fruit flavors.

Like classic Muscadet, the wine abounds with minerality, flintiness and some notes of salinity on the finish.

Pair with seafood.

Bottle Note: A family, a story, a passion. Since 1885, six generations of Bougrier have mastered the art of wine making in Loire Valley, creating delicate and subtle wines. We wish you a great pleasure tasting our wines. This wine offers a unique style with a fine and pleasant attack, flavored with crisp, fresh citrus and apple notes paired with a bright acidity. To be served chilled (50-54°F) with oysters as traditional match but as well with other shellfish or simply as an aperitif.
