Ferraton Père & Fils, Plan de Dieu Côtes Du Rhône Villages 2017, Rhone, France

Tasting Note: A fruit-forward Côtes du Rhône that is bursting with delicious black fruit.

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of black plum, kirsch, raspberry compote, black cherry and fresh violet petal.

On the palate the dry, full-bodied Côtes du Rhône has medium-plus flavor intensity with jammy, black-fruit flavors suggested on nose supported by medium acidity and slightly-grippy, ripe, medium-plus tannin.

There is complexity in the midpalate and good balance between fruit and tannin structure.

Perfect to open on a rainy night or to pair with red meat.

Bottle Note: In the beginning, there was a region: the Rhone valley. In 1946, there was a man with passion: Jean Ferraton. Today, our team is committed to ensuring the continuation of the knowledge. With the greatest respect for the “terroir” and the vine.
