Tasting Note: A chardonnay from the Maconnais that captures the sunnier side of Burgundy with a mix of green, yet-restrained tropical fruit.

Medium-intensity gold in color this wine has a nose of white peach, red apple and pear with secondary aromas of vanilla spice and toast.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus bodied wine is medium-plus in acidity with aromas on the nose continuing to the palate as flavors with a mix of slightly under-ripe green and just-ripened tropical fruit aromas playing throughout the length of the taste.

The wine has a long, slightly-tart finish and is of very good quality because of the balance of green and tropical fruit flavors.
