Georges Laval, Cumiéres Brut Nature NV, Champagne, France, Wine Casual

Georges Laval, Cumiéres Brut Nature NV, Champagne, France

Tasting Note: Lemon-colored with biscuity yeast and hints of lemon-citrus aromas, this champagne smells of late-harvest pear (70%) and green apple (30%) and lightly-grilled toast.

Tight bubbles abound.

High acidity characterizes the wine on the attack followed by an intense fruit reveal of pear and green apple which follow through to the palate.

The bone-dry, medium-bodied palate cleanser has refreshing acidity that hits you at the 10% point of the taste and remains through to the finish. The wine is composed of chardonnay, pinot meunier and pinot noir with 30% white grapes and 70% red grapes.
