Graham Beck Brut Rosé 2011 – A Great, Affordable Alternative to Rosé Champagne

Graham Beck, Brut Rosé 2011, Robertson, South Africa, Wine Casual

Graham Beck, Brut Rosé 2011, Robertson, South Africa

Tasting Note: A South-African rosé with delicious complexity and wonderful biscuit notes that is a level above the developing mass of sparkling rosés on the market.

Medium-intensity salmon in color with small persistent bubbles, this wine has an aromatic nose of strawberry, brioche, red plum, red cherry, fresh bread dough and blossom.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied sparkling rosé abounds with medium-plus-intensity, red-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-plus acidity and completing with a brioche-filled medium-plus, finish.

There is midpalate complexity, flavor intensity and development showing throughout the entire length of the taste.

Such a great, affordable alternative to rosé Champagne.
