Tasting Note: A pleasing merlot (55%) and cabernet sauvignon (45%) rosé blend.

Medium-intensity salmon in color, this wine has a nose of strawberry, red cherry and lemon citrus.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied wine has flavors of lemon citrus along with those suggested on the nose.

Bottle Note: Estate Wine – One of the longest surviving trademarks in the world today and the oldest wine-producing farm in South Africa – a national treasure producing wine continuously since 1685. Sought after for centuries by aristocrats and noblemen such as King Louis Philippe of France, Frederick the Great of Prussia and Napoleon Bonaparte. Blanc de Noir 2017 – Minimum contact with the grape skins ensures this blanc de noir made from merlot and cabernet sauvignon, has a delicate salmon color. This wine shows fresh summer fruit like honeydew melon and guava on the nose, as well as strawberry and black currant. The palate is delicate and elegant, the melon flavors balanced by a fresh acidity.
