Hanna Sauvignon Blanc 2016 – A Suprisingly Pétillant White

Hanna, Sauvignon Blanc 2016, Russian River Valley, California, Wine Casual

Hanna, Sauvignon Blanc 2016, Russian River Valley, California

Tasting Note: A sauvignon blanc that offers an unexpected and welcome burst of bubbles that will expand your perception of the realm of possibilities of what the grape varietal can deliver in your glass.

Pale-intensity lemon in color and slightly pétillant, this wine has an aromatic nose of ripe-green apple, green pear and blossom with hints of grass and lychee.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied sauvignon blanc echoes aromas suggested on the nose with bright, fresh-fruit flavors.

There is balance between the fruit and medium-plus acidity.

This sauvignon blanc would pair well with many a dish, including the paella dish I’m enjoying tonight.
