Hector Wine Company, Sauvignon Blanc 2014, Seneca Lake, New York
Tasting Note: A powerhouse sauvignon blanc with complexity that impresses.
Yellow to golden in color this wine has an aromatic nose of ripe green pear, melon and pineapple along with grassy, lemon-lime citrus aromas.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus bodied sauvignon blanc packs a punch with tart green and ripe tropical fruit flavors backed by high acidity that lifts the wine to delicious heights.
There is the depth, aroma and flavor complexity that one often finds in indigenous-yeast fermented wine which is a noticeable theme present across the entire Hector Pass line.
