Heitz Wine Cellars, Cabernet Sauvignon 2010, Napa Valley, California

Tasting Note: A cabernet sauvignon you could use as perfume or cologne to attract another wine lover.

This gorgeous cabernet sauvignon delivers cab without the dominating, over-the-top, Napa style.

Deep ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of black fruit and clove-and-cinnamon baking spice along with red cherry, blackberry and raspberry.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus bodied cabernet sauvignon continues baking-spice infused aromatics suggested on the nose along with black fruit.

The tannin is well-integrated and soft around the edges but yields to its fruit-and-spice character.
