Tasting Note: This is a grown-up, voluptuous zin that is comfortable in its skin, knows it’s sexy, and invites you to join in and participate in its adventure.

It’s also the creamiest of red zinfandels you’ve probably ever tasted that has a luxurious mouthfeel which impresses.

Deep-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of kirsch, black currant, black cherry, red plum, strawberry and some vanilla baking spice.

On the palate the dry, full-bodied zinfandel has a creamy texture, punctuated by ripe, but not overripe, black fruit.

The wine is medium-plus in ripe, silky tannin punctuated by flashes of red fruit suggestion.

Bottle Note: 100% dry-farmed zinfandel. We love the fruity bouquet and flavors that come from Block 14 year after year. It is grown on our 14-acre zinfandel block, and is irrigated only after the crop has been harvested. At the winery, we refrained from blending it with anything else, and aged the wine in neutral oak barrels because we like it just the way it is. We think you will too. This enjoyable wine will compliment any meal or special moment. Bottled in May 2016. 150 cases produced.
