Heron Hill, Unoaked Chardonnay 2014, Finger Lakes, New York

Tasting Note: This golden-colored chardonnay has a nose of grapefruit, green apple, mango and lemon.

Flavors on the nose continue to the palate with the addition of peach.

The wine is high in acidity which kicks in mid-palate through to the end of the taste with medium complexity.

The unoaked chardonnay shows its fruit well and is a fine expression of the varietal.

Bottle Note: Heron Hill Winery is nestled into a slate hillside overlooking scenic Keuka Lake in New York’s Finger Lakes region. Since 1977, Heron Hill’s passion and dedication to quality has set the standard for regional wine making. Owners John and Josephine Ingle warmly invite you to visit Heron Hill Winery on Keuka or our tasting rooms on Seneca and Canandaigua Lakes to experience the future of Finger Lakes wine. Light and refreshing, this wine exhibits lemon citrus and green apple flavors that will please most any palate. Pair with white meats or shellfish prepared with garlic and butter.
