Tasting Note: A red Burgundy that combines tart, red fruit and the Kimmeridgian-soil character for which the region is known.

Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of red cherry, hibiscus, strawberry, blossom and boysenberry.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied pinot noir has tart, medium-intensity, red-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and slightly-stalky medium tannin.

There is some midpalate complexity coupled with some crushed-stone elements on the back palate of this enjoyable premier cru.
