Tasting Note: A wine with red and black fruit and a velvety soft mouthfeel that would pair well with many a meal and hails from the Alto Adige region of Italy.

Medium-intensity purple in color this wine has an aromatic nose of black plum, red currant, raspberry and bramble.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus bodied wine expresses flavors suggested on the nose along with velvety, ripe, medium tannin supported by medium-plus acidity.

The wine also has some midpalate complexity that is enjoyable.

Bottle Note: Lagrein is made from 100% lagrein grape. This wine has an intense ruby color, complex, spicy aromas with a fresh perfume of wild berries and violets, balance flavor with a good tannin and lightly spicy finish. Goes well with red meats, roast, game and hard cheeses. Serve at 18-20° C.
