Lamoreaux Landing Pinot Noir 2013 – A Great Rosé Substitute

Lamoreaux Landing, Pinot Noir 2013, Finger Lakes, New York, Wine Casual

Lamoreaux Landing, Pinot Noir 2013, Finger Lakes, New York

Tasting Note: A great pinot noir to enjoy in summer in lieu of rosé.

Pale-to-medium intensity ruby in color, this wine has a nose of red cherry, red plum, strawberry and cinnamon baking spice.

On the palate the dry, medium-minus-bodied pinot noir shows red fruit flavors suggested on the nose with soft, medium flavor intensity and tannin.

There are notes of midpalate complexity as well as balance between the acidity and tannin.

A pinot noir with more complexity than meets the eye.

Bottle Note: Barrel aged. Lamoreaux Landing Wine Cellars produces this award-winning pinot noir from our estate grown vineyards overlooking Seneca Lake. A vertically split trellising system is utilized to maximize sun exposure in the vineyards, while 9 months of French oak barrel aging in the cellar provides intensity and weight on the palate.
