Lange Estate Winery and Vineyards, Pinot Gris 2015, Willamette Valley, Oregon

Tasting Note:
A Willamette pinot gris that oozes green fruit.

Pale-intensity lemon in color this wine has a nose of pear, green apple and lemon zest.

On the palate the dry, slightly petillant, medium-bodied pinot gris echoes flavors suggested on the nose along with slightly under-ripe, green-fruit flavors.

There are some notes of mid-palate complexity even as the stainless-steel aged wine is mostly straight forward in flavor.

Bottle Note: Established in 1987 atop the highly acclaimed Dundee Hills, Lange Estate Winery produces the finest cool-climate varietals from Oregon’s North Willamette Valley – pinot noir, pinot gris and chardonnay. By sourcing fruit from premier vineyards and using minimal handling in the cellar, Lange Estate Winery produces wines of exceptional balance, complexity, and elegance. From our family to yours – The Langes.
