Tasting Note: The Mâcon produces fuller-bodied chardonnays with riper fruit, and this wine well-captures that style.

Medium-intensity gold in color this wine has pronounced intensity aromas of vanilla and clove baking spice, charred wood, green apple, butter and toast.

On the palate, the dry, full-bodied wine displays ripe green fruit underneath the more dominant layer of secondary flavors of butterscotch, vanilla, nutmeg, clove and charred wood.

The wine has a medium-plus flavor intensity with a creamy texture and medium-plus finish.

The wine is of very good quality because of the complexity of flavor and integration of fruit and tannin.

You can drink this this wine now, but it is suitable for further aging as the tannin structure could continue to develop with additional aging.

Bottle Note: Origin – Produced in the Macônnais region of Burgundy, this famous wine is partially barrel fermented with 6 months aging in French oak casks. Grapes – 100% Chardonnay. Flavor – Fresh honey and white flower aromas with elegant and rich flavors. One of the purest expressions of this typical Burgundy grape. Pairing – Roasted salmon, shellfish or creamy cheeses.
