Loveblock Pinot Noir 2018 – Supple with Subtlety of Flavor

Loveblock, Pinot Noir 2018, Central Otago, New Zealand, Wine Casual

Loveblock, Pinot Noir 2018, Central Otago, New Zealand

Tasting Note: A good pinot noir that shines above many others, especially for the price point.

Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of red cherry, black plum and strawberry.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied pinot noir, has medium-plus-intensity, red-and-black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by ripe, medium-plus tannin.

The wine is supple in texture with midpalate complexity and subtlety of flavor.

Bottle Note: Nestled amongst the snow-capped mountains of Central Otago is our small pinot noir vineyard. This region produces multi-layered and complex wines, making it ideal for growing pinot noir. We are the custodians of this piece of land, our responsibility is to respect its rhythm, making wine sustainably and with love of the land. This is a bold wine of brooding complexity. On the nose it is big and rich, with sweet berry fruits, earthy mushroom and hints of tobacco. Intense dark fruits hit the palate, balanced by dry tannins. We hope you enjoy this wine – we loved growing and making it. Winemaker: Kim Crawford. Family owned. Estate grown. New Zealand Sustainable Winegrowing.
