Tasting Note: A curious California take on the Vermentino Italian grape the harkens back to the old world.

Pale-intensity lemon in color, this wine has a nose of lemon citrus, blossom, pear, green apple and honeydew melon.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied vermentino has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with a short, lemon-citrus-infused finish. T

he wine is bright and straightforward and shows varietal typicity.

Bottle Note: m2 crafts fine artisan wines from distinctive vineyards throughout California. Vermentino is a traditional Mediterranean varietal, known principally in Sardinia, Corsica, and Northern Italy. It is also grown in the Rhone Valley. This wine has a clean, spicy nose showing hints of citrus blossoms, fresh key limes and springtime flowers. Flavors of lime, nectarine and mandarin balanced with refreshing acidity leads to a rich lingering finish. Lodi Rules Certified Green Sustainable Wine Growing.
