Mee Godard, Grand Cras Morgon 2013, Beaujolais, France

Tasting Note: An assertive, black-fruit-led Morgon Cru Beaujolais.

Deep-intensity purple in color with some garnet around the edges, this wine has an aromatic nose of blackberry, strawberry and raspberry.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied Morgon Beaujolais is smooth in texture with ripe, round, medium-plus tannin.

Yum.
