Tasting Note: Dry muscat is one of life’s underappreciated pleasures.

Pale-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of orange peel, gooseberry, pear, white nectarine, pineapple, lychee and apple blossom.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied muscat is creamy in texture with floral, medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with an enticing, white-rose-petal-infused, long finish.

There is midpalate complexity and balance between the fruit and acid structure.

In France dry muscat is popularly paired with white asparagus in spring, but you can enjoy this wine in fall, winter or summer when you want a white wine with more bones and substance.

Would pair well with vegetable dishes and could even be enjoyed as an aperitif to refresh the palate.
