Neethlingshof Estate, Chenin Blanc 2016, Stellenbosch, South Africa

Tasting Note: Medium-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of just-picked red apple, green pear, star fruit and apple blossom with hints of lees.

On the palate, the dry, medium-bodied, slightly petillant chenin blanc expresses tart, green-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-plus acidity.

The medium-plus finish wipes your palate clean and has some chalkiness to it.

Would pair well with white meats and to cleanse the palate.

Bottle Note: At Neethlingshof terroir, technology and tradition meet up to create fine wines with an authentic sense of place.

This chenin blanc emphasizes our commitment not only to producing fine wines, but also to innovation, without ever sacrificing our rich history.

This elegant and well-balanced wine will not only please your senses, but will go well with fish dishes, poultry or cheeses.
