Medium-intensity ruby in color this wine has an aromatic nose of black plum and raspberry jam with a dash of apricot and clove baking spice.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus bodied red zinfandel expresses just-ripened, red-and-black fruit flavors suggested on the nose but in a restrained style for the region.
There is nuance and subtlety in flavor supported by ripe, medium-plus tannin.
