Onus, Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 – Fruit Inclined without Being Fruit Forward

Onus, Cabernet Sauvignon 2012, Lodi, California, Wine Casual

Onus, Cabernet Sauvignon 2012, Lodi, California

Tasting Note: A fruit-inclined without being overly-fruit-forward cabernet sauvignon that shows some of the complexity of the grape.

This ruby-colored wine has a nose of black plum and violet.

On the palate the wine is fruit forward with medium-plus tannin and a long finish.

Bottle Note: Onus (?’n?s): 1 A responsibility that involves considerable difficulty or necessitates rather strenuous effort. 2. Onus probandi: burden of proof. “The Proof is in the Bottle.” Since 1904. The Peterson family has farmed vineyards northwest of Lodi, California. We are proud present Onus – a wine that reflects four generations of our experience and commitment to the vine.
