Tasting Note: A riesling with age that tastes like popping an under-ripe green grape and peach in your mouth while filling your car tank at the gas station.

Lemon in color, this wine has a nose of petrol and white grape.

On the palate the dry riesling shows subtle, green fruit under the tertiary-aging flavors which lead in this high-acid wine.

Bottle Note: Pewsey Vale Vineyard ‘The Contours’ is characterized by a special site, loving viticulture and astute winemaking. The Contours’ riesling is produced from old vines farmed on the coolest slope within this ruggedly beautiful single vineyard. Bottle aging for five years before release transforms fresh lemon and a floral riesling aromatics into a complex wine of limes and brioche, with minerality and lime. More richness and complexity will accumulate over future decades. Louisa Rose, winemaker.
