Tasting Note: An aged Chinon that expresses the beauty of cabernet franc restraint.

Deep-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of black plum, dried raspberry, bramble, forest floor, pencil shavings, and dried-crushed violet petal.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied cabernet franc has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose along with some chalky notes supported by medium acidity and velvety, medium-plus tannin.

The wine is balanced with a plush mouthfeel towards the medium-plus finish.

Drink now, not suitable for further aging.
