Tasting Note: A Bourgueil with just the amount of midpalate flavor intensity and balance that makes you appreciate the region’s affinity for producing more concentrated cabernet franc than Chinon to its south.

Deep-intensity ruby in color, this wine has a pronounced-intensity, aromatic nose of violet petal, black plum, hay, forest floor, blossom and raspberry essence.

On the palate the dry, full-bodied Bourgueil delivers concentrated yet restrained, medium-plus-intensity, red-and-black flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and ripe, medium-plus tannin.
