Ravines, Gewürztraminer 2013, Finger Lakes, New York

Tasting Note: A gewürz you can chew on.

Golden-colored with a pungent nose of stewed peach, overripe pear, day-old wet wool and lychee concentrate, this gewürztraminer has a unique assembly of aromas.

Aromas on the nose carry mostly to palate.

This dry white wine has a round smooth mouth feel and is medium-plus bodied. This straightforward wine has medium acidity and finishes with a tart, almost sour taste.

A pairing with spicy food would be ideal.
