Tasting Note: This pinot noir expresses the essence of restrained, red-fruit nectar wrapped in faint rays of 8:00 p.m. summer sun.

This ruby-colored wine has an aromatic nose of strawberry, red cherry and red plum along with some earthy aromas.

On the palate the delicate, light-bodied pinot noir is supple and smooth with a red fruit flavor character that completes with a slightly-tart, vanilla finish.

A well-made, thin-rather-than-concentrated pinot noir that doesn’t need to congratulate itself to know it fits well in its own skin.

Bottle Note: We are the first LEED Gold Certified green winery in New York State. Using geothermal energy, we have reduced our energy consumption over 50% while sustaining the quality of our vineyard and wines. Cheers! – Mike Schnelle & Nancy Irelan
