Rogue Vine, Grand Itata Blanco 2015, Itata Valley, Chile, Wine Casual

Rogue Vine, Grand Itata Blanco 2015, Itata Valley, Chile

Tasting Note: An unusual riesling from Chile that is reminiscent of gewurztraminer.

Lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of blossom, honey dew melon, cantaloupe and dried-green raisin.

On the palate the dry riesling has flavors of lychee and apple blossom.

Bottle Note: Delicate white flowers aroma in a very fresh wine made of Itata with riesling grapes. A great representation of Grand Itata. Old bush vines failing from steep granitic hills at only 18 kms from the Pacific Ocean. A wine made by hands with friends. Bottles: 2,340.
