Setter Ridge Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc 2016 – Made in the French Style

Tasting Note: Enjoy sauvignon blanc the way the French do blended with a little semillon to give the wine character, finesse and richness that allows for a more sensual, sauvignon-blanc experience.

Medium-intensity gold in color, this wine has an aromatic, pronounced-intensity nose of white fig, guava, honey dew melon, white nectarine, pineapple and blossom with hints of sage brush.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied sauvignon blanc has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose along with some marzipan, almond and walnut flavors.

There is a load of midpalate complexity supported by medium-plus acidity and a creamy smooth body.

Bottle Note: Setter Ridge Vineyards is a family owned and operated vineyard and winery in Eastern Pennsylvania. The high elevations, cool temperatures with eastern and southern slopes make an ideal location for cool climate grapes of Northern Europe. Our sauvignon blanc was fermented and aged in neutral oak barrels. Enjoy a nose of honeysuckle and melon. Fresh guava and melon lead to a nice long mouthfeel.
