Sheldrake Point, Gewürztraminer 2013, Finger Lakes, New York

Tasting Note: Lemon-gold in color this dry gewürztraminer has a pleasing nose of honeysuckle, lychee, cloves and red apple.

On your palate you get flavors of ripe, sun-kissed, late-harvest orchard fruit and sweet baking spice.

Highly aromatic with medium-plus body, and medium-plus acidity, this wine runs down the center of your tongue fading towards the back with a long finish.

The gewürztraminer is slightly sweeter than others I have tasted.

A delicious gewürztraminer that balances fruit, dryness and sweetness delivering medium complexity.

Bottle Note: Intensely floral with bright citrus and stone fruit, and a lingering lively finish. 0.5% Residual Sugar, Acidity 6.4 G/L. Our Gewürztraminer is a beautiful representation of the quality of our Cayuga Lake vineyard and the cool-climate of the Finger Lakes.
