Stony Run, Reserve Cabernet Franc 2016, Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania

Tasting Note: A ripe, smooth-bodied cabernet franc that is pleasing to the senses.

Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of red plum, black cherry, cedar and clove baking spice.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied cabernet franc has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and ripe, smooth, medium-intensity tannin coupled with midpalate complexity.

Supple, yet humble.

Bottle Note: Deep currants and blackberries with toasty oak define the nose while the palate shows a supple array of bright raspberry and red plum flavors. World class varietals, technology and people combine to produce handcrafted wines of extraordinary quality. Real oak barrels age our wine enhancing the rich flavors developed in our own vineyards. Relax and raise a glass of Pennsylvania’s finest. Stony Run wine, close to home but far from ordinary!
