Tasting Note: A substantial tannat with a good mixture of black fruit and leathery notes.

Deep-intensity ruby in color with some garnet around the edges, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of blackberry, leather, cassis, dried red cherry, raspberry and dried mushroom.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied tannat has medium-intensity, black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and ripe, medium-plus tannin ultimately completing with a round, medium finish.

The wine has some complexity.

Great to pair with grilled meats or sausages.

Bottle Note: Few have seen him; he is the largest and wisest fox of them all. Aguará Guazú inhabits our land, but is rarely seen.
