Sophora Sparkling Rosé – Combines Welcome Autolytic Notes with Red Fruit

Sophora, Sparkling Rosé, New Zealand, Wine Casual

Sophora, Sparkling Rosé, New Zealand

Tasting Note: A fun, New Zealand sparkling rosé that combines welcome autolytic notes with red fruit.

Medium-intensity salmon in color with tight, persistent bubbles, this wine has a medium-intensity nose of red cherry, strawberry, brioche, bread dough and blossom.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied sparkling rosé has medium-intensity, red-fruit-and-bready flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with a medium finish.

The wine has a bright midpalate with many Champagne-like yeasty notes.

A sparkling rosé to repeat.

Bottle Note: Sophora symbolizes the natural beauty and excitement of New Zealand. Pristine growing conditions and abundant sunshine enhances the vibrancy of our sparkling rosé. We bottle ferment this cuvée of chardonnay (52%) and pinot noir (48%) to elevate the delightful floral aromas and bright red berry flavors within. Each glass of Sophora is decadent, creamy and layered with delicate bubbles.
