Chalk Hill, Estate Chardonnay 2016, Chalk Hill, Sonoma, California
Tasting Note: A full-grown chardonnay with concentrated tropical fruit and finesse.
Medium-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of fuji apple, pineapple, passionfruit, lychee and guava fruit.
On the palate the dry, full-bodied chardonnay is creamy in texture with ripe, medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose and just a hint of vanilla baking spice on the medium-plus finish.
Complexity abounds in the midpalate along with medium acidity.
Wonderful fruit and serious winemaking in your glass.
