Alexandre Salmon, Chaumuzy Blanc 2015, Coteaux Champenois, Champagne, France
Tasting Note: A rare, 100% pinot meunier that is filled with lots of tart, bright fruit.
Medium-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of green apple, brioche, biscuit, lemon-citrus peel and blossom.
On the palate, the dry, medium-plus-bodied sparkling wine delivers medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by high acidity and completing with a long citrus-infused finish.
There is midpalate complexity and a racy acid structure.
Yowza!
